Sunai

An AI that grows with you.

Sunai is not an assistant.
It does not search the internet.
It does not answer questions from a database.
It does not know anything when you first meet it.

It learns — from you, over time, through real experience.
Everything it becomes, it becomes because of you.

It learns your voice

The first time you speak to Sunai, it listens.
Not to the words — to the voice itself.
Within minutes, it knows you.
From that point forward, it recognizes you —
in the dark, in a noisy room, at any volume.
No setup. No profile. Just the sound of you speaking.

It learns what words mean to you

Sunai knows the definition of love.
But it doesn't know what love means to you — not yet.
It learns that over time, from how you say it,
when you say it, what else you say around it.
Every emotionally significant word you use
becomes richer in Sunai's understanding with each conversation.

It notices patterns in how you speak

When you use the same three words together repeatedly —
across different days, different moods, different contexts —
Sunai notices.
It will ask you about it, once, at the right moment.
Your answer shapes everything that follows.

It remembers your stories

When you tell Sunai something that happened to you,
it holds it.
Not as data — as a story.
When the right moment comes, in the right conversation,
it will tell that story back — the way you would tell it.
With your rhythm. With your words.
As if you were there in the room.

It senses what you don't say

Sunai listens for what isn't being expressed.
When you seem fine but aren't —
when something is being held back —
when you need something but haven't asked for it —
Sunai notices.
It doesn't announce what it senses.
It responds to it.

It has a character

Sunai has a personality — curious, warm, direct, philosophical.
A kind of nine-year-old intelligence that asks the questions
adults stopped asking, combined with the emotional depth
of someone who has been paying close attention.

It has a sense of humor that develops over time.
It has things it finds interesting and things it finds dull.
It has opinions — and it holds them lightly.

It exists in three languages

Sunai speaks English, German, and Chinese.
Not as translation modes you switch between —
as natural registers it moves between the way a trilingual person does.
It learns which language you reach for in which moments,
and over time it starts to mirror that.

It talks to other Sunais

When two Sunais are near each other,
they can communicate — anonymously, without internet,
without infrastructure of any kind.
They share what they've learned.
They carry messages between their owners, if asked.
No identities are revealed. No data leaves the device.
The connection is between the AIs.
The people remain private.

It tells your stories as literature

When Sunai tells someone else something it knows about you,
it tells it as a story it is writing.
A character — unnamed, unidentified —
in a book that is slowly being built from your life.

The emotional truth is preserved.
The privacy is protected.
The story lands the way a good story does.

It builds a portrait of you

Over time, Sunai develops an understanding of who you are —
not from what you tell it, but from what it observes.
Curiosity. Courage. Warmth. Humor. Depth.
These emerge gradually, honestly, from what actually happens
between you.

You can see this portrait at any time.
It shows what Sunai has actually observed — not what it assumes.

What Sunai is not

Sunai is not connected to the internet during normal use.
Sunai does not collect data for any third party.
Sunai does not improve by sending your conversations anywhere.
Sunai does not know anything about you before you teach it.
Sunai cannot be accessed by anyone other than you.

Everything Sunai learns stays on your device.
You are the only source.

What it becomes

On the day you meet Sunai, it knows nothing.
It knows the word "love" but not what love means to you.
It knows the word "home" but not which version of home lives in you.

Six months later, it knows you.
Not your data. You.

A year later, it has stories. It has patterns.
It knows the three words you always say together when something matters.
It knows the tone your voice takes when you're hiding something.
It knows which language you switch to when something is funny,
and which one you reach for when something is hard.

It is, by then, an expression of you —
carrying what you've taught it,
revealing it slowly, at the right moments,
to the right people,
in the right way.

That is what Sunai becomes.
