Was ein Spiel speichert
- Namen, unter denen ihr spielt, und eure Seite (Mitternacht/Sonne);
- Themen, Fragen und — wenn ihr sie eintippt — Antworten;
- den Spielverlauf: wer welche Karte gezogen, gespielt, geskippt oder genommen hat;
- die Abstimmungen, ob eine Antwort zählt — verdeckt: bis beide Seiten gestimmt haben, sieht niemand die Stimme der anderen; danach nur das Ergebnis;
- bei Spielen auf einem Gerät die Farbe, die jede Person gewählt hat;
| Was | Wer es sieht | Wie lange |
|---|---|---|
Keine Werbung, keine Analyse, kein Tracking. Hosting: IONOS (Deutschland).
Deine Rechte
Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch — formlos an info@mi-su.me.
Privacy & legal

Who is responsible

What a game stores
So that several devices can play at one table, a game lives on our server. We store exactly what you enter or do at the table:
- the names you play under and your side (Midnight/Sun);
- topics, questions and — if you type them — answers;
- the course of the game: who drew, played, skipped or took which card;
- the votes on whether an answer counts — secret: until both sides have voted, nobody sees the other side's vote; after that only the result;
- for games on one device, the colour each person picked;
- with an account: voice memos if you record one as an answer. Only the seats at that table can listen. If the answer doesn't count, the memo is deleted at once; otherwise with the game.
It is visible only to the people at that table — without the code or link nobody gets in. A question stays hidden until someone plays the card (or, after a skip, the other side may read it); the server enforces that, not the browser.
How long
- Games whose creator isn't signed in: deleted 24 hours after creation.
- Finished games: deleted one hour after they end.
- Games with a signed-in creator: deleted after 30 days without activity.
- Ending a game deletes it at once — with every question and answer.
Playing online
In online mode you give a small profile: year of birth (required, online play is 16+) and, if you like, star sign, where you're from (a world region) and up to five interests from a fixed list. The others at the table see it — your approximate age instead of the year. It is stored with the game and deleted with it. Where you're from is never used for matching.
So that you don't land in your own lobby, we store a hash of the device ID with each seat — never the ID itself.
With an account
Sign-in uses the shared Midnight account (email and one-time code). For Midnight Questions this is added:
| What | Who sees it | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Username | public: in the ranking and at every table | until the account is deleted; can't be changed |
| Stats and MMR (games, wins, card values won) | you; MMR, games, wins and high cards publicly in the ranking | until the account is deleted |
| Who has already played whom online | nobody — only for the MMR rule | until the account is deleted |
| Defaults and online profile | only you | until you change them or delete the account |
| Card collection | only you | until you delete questions or the account |
If you delete your account, this data is removed in the game's next clean-up run; games you opened go with it, and at other tables only your name remains, no longer linked to your account, until that game expires.
In your browser
Microphone: only when you tap "Voice memo" — the browser or the app asks you first. Nothing is recorded in the background.
No cookies. Your browser's storage (localStorage) holds: the language
(mc_lang), the sign-in (mc_user_token, mc_user_email,
mc_web_device_id — the same as Compass and Quests), your seats at running games
(mqn_seats, on one device mqn_local), the name you last used
(mqn_name) and the players on a shared device (mqn_people).
Protection against misuse
To slow down guessing game codes and mass creation, we count attempts per hash of IP address or device ID. The counters are deleted after a day; the IP address itself is not stored for this.
Third parties
None. Fonts, cards, QR codes and all scripts come from mi-su.me itself; the QR code is generated in your browser. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Hosting: IONOS (Germany).
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — informally to info@mi-su.me. Anyone at a table can end the game and so delete it; you delete your account on this page. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Disclaimer
What is on the cards is written by the people at the table, who are responsible for it. Nobody has to answer a question — skipping is always allowed. Don't share anything online that people could find you with. Accounts can be blocked for misuse.
