What it does

Ten booked hours block twenty.

Setting up, clearing away, cleaning, the drive back: a hall is tied up for longer than the calendar says. MSG ERP counts that time in and tells you while you're booking that the next slot isn't free. Not on the day itself.

Hire items and stock

Halls, equipment, vehicles, consumables. Every change to stock is an entry with a reason behind it. The figure is the sum of its movements, never a number somebody typed over.

Bookings with turnaround

Setting up, clearing away and cleaning belong to the booking. A double booking is refused before it happens, including the clash that only the turnaround creates.

Events

From enquiry to provisional hold to confirmed booking. You can't skip a step: saying yes before the resources are set aside is a promise with nothing behind it.

Quotes and invoices

Prices built from parts instead of worked out in your head: base rate, duration, weekend surcharge, discount. Part payments, credit notes and a reminder run that counts the days overdue.

Costs and cost centres

Materials, casual staff, cleaning: entered net, booked to a cost centre. So what stands there at year end isn't turnover. It's what's left.

Door access by NFC

Cards for staff, a profile per door and time window, a log that records the refused attempts too. The card itself carries no rights, so blocking one takes effect at once.

Your data stays in-house

The program runs on your own computer or your own server. There's no cloud holding your customer list, and nobody who can switch it off.

On your own, or three of you

On your own it runs out of a single file. With three of you a database joins it: same software, one line in the settings file.

Backed up before every change

Every update writes a backup with a checksum first. Restoring is done at the command line, not with a button a script can press by accident.

Everything leaves a trail

Who, when, what and why: every change of status, every booking, every sign-in. Records aren't overwritten. They're corrected.
