The page you’re reading is an example of exactly that. No third-party scripts, no tracking, fonts served from our own machine — which is why it needs no banner and loads instantly.

What it costs

One-off. After that you only pay what you’d pay anyway: the domain and the hosting, usually five to fifteen euros a month, billed by your provider rather than by us. We’ll set that up and hand you the logins if you’d like.

Why not a site builder

A builder is cheaper at the start and expensive afterwards. The monthly fee never stops, the site is slow because it’s built to do everything for everyone, and at the end there’s nothing to take with you. A hand-built site costs money once and then belongs to you — files included, and you can move it elsewhere whenever you want.

Built for the European market

The company is registered in the United States, but the sites are built for European clients and come with what that involves: a legal notice and a privacy page from the start, no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to, self-hosted fonts rather than a call to Google — and hosting in a German data centre on request. We work in German or English.
