MISUNAI runs on the phone. The language model is self-trained, the memory sits on the device, and it only gets a character from the person it talks to. A PC can join as a second organ — but everything personal stays here.
The phone is the heart, the PC is the head. The split is not a workaround but the rule: anything personal stays with the heart, even when the head would be cleverer.
A one-billion-parameter language model, about 850 MB, that answers without a connection. Beside it live the memory, the senses and the instinct. It also decides what may be claimed at all.
A large model for factual questions, plus seeing and training. It is optional and reachable only inside your own network — with a token, and only from private addresses or your own VPN.
An emergency always stays on the phone. In an accident the phone is there and the PC is at home, and every second of waiting would be one too many.
Seven tensions, all balanced at 0.5. Four natures at a quarter each. None of it is preset — it shifts over hundreds of encounters, and ever more slowly.
Twenty-six qualities across seven sections — Mind, Will, Heart, Expression, Depth, Presence, Vision. All start at zero. It only observes when you talk about yourself without asking a question.
What it notices in you it takes into its own manner — it does not tell you to your face. If you are direct, it becomes more direct.
Microphone and magnetic sensor produce a colour when something was measured. When nothing was measured there is no colour. An invented mood would be worse than none.
Sentence length, punctuation, whether you type umlauts, which filler words you use. The result is "this reads differently than usual" — never "you are not you".
The death of a pet shapes a character. A PIN shapes nothing — it is a number that belongs to nobody but you. Both are thoughts, and only one of them may go anywhere.
If a number is in the sentence after all, MISUNAI asks whether it should keep it. Say yes and it is stored encrypted on the device (AES-GCM, key in the Android Keystore). Say no and it is gone.
There is no way out of that chamber — no export function, deliberately. A function that existed could one day be called by mistake. Delete the app and the key is gone and the entries are unreadable for good. There is no recovery, and there is not meant to be.
Recognised are PIN, password, TAN, IBAN, card number, ID number, keys and bare digit sequences — deliberately generous. One sentence held back too many costs nothing. One too few cannot be taken back: what is once inside the model does not come out again.
For "stays with you" to mean anything, it has to say what lives where. It is more than a word count — and since 7 September 2026 not everything lives on the phone alone.
Every message is stored as plain text in a SQLite file on the device, with a timestamp and what the microphone and magnetic sensor measured at that moment. That is the price of remembering anything at all — and it belongs in the open, not in the small print.
Since 7 September 2026 the conversation travels to your own PC as soon as it is reachable. The reason: the phone carries a model with one billion values, the PC one with four — without the same history the larger one would know less than the smaller. It goes there and nowhere else. A leash in the source lets exactly one address through, the address of your PC; everything else is refused, even by accident. And whatever the credential lock catches never sets off at all — that check sits twice, on the device and again on arrival.
The vocabulary with its sensory context — how often a word was said, in what vocal range, in what magnetic field. The PC has neither microphone nor sensor and could never produce those numbers. And the secret diary stays where it is regardless.
How often a word was said, in what vocal range, and which words occurred together. That is what the check rests on that decides whether it may say anything about a topic.
The secret diary sits under AES-GCM with a key in the Android Keystore. The ordinary memory does not — anyone who has unlocked the device and reaches the app data can read it.
The phone is the heart. Lose it and everything that lived only there is gone. The time machine puts encrypted snapshots on your own PC — the PC gets ciphertext and a date, nothing else.
The passphrase is twelve words and carries 96 bits of randomness. Where possible the words come from what you yourself said since the last backup — then it is an imprint of those weeks rather than an arbitrary list.
There is one master key; each phrase is a wrapper around it. The newest phrase also opens every older snapshot — you do not have to keep every old one. That is exactly how wallets are most often lost.
Lose the phrase and the snapshots are lost. That is not carelessness, it is the point.
Several MISUNAI can connect to the same EVO. What is shared is knowledge and stance, never the character and never a person. Two that know the same things are not the same one.
A contribution only counts once three different hearts have reported the same thing independently. A single voice never gets through.
Report the same thing ten times and you have reported it once. Otherwise volume would be the same as truth.
If someone reports the opposite, the entry is not outvoted but silenced. When there is disagreement EVO would rather say nothing. A majority is not a proof.
These rules live in the server, not only in the app — a rule only the sender keeps is not a rule.
MISUNAI is a work in progress. So that this means something, here is what runs and what does not.
Self-trained model, 851 MB on disk, measured on a device with 4 GB of memory.
Microphone and network. No location, no contacts, no storage access. (Count them in the built package and you find a third: a signature-level one from AndroidX that cannot reach outside.)
All on the device, all starting from zero.
Enforced in four places in the code. Switchable — and the setting says itself what that means.

The question goes to the device; for a factual question the PC does the thinking and the answer comes back — first observed on the device on 4 September 2026, marked “thought by the PC”. Optional: without a PC she keeps answering on her own.
